Play Silks

What is the deal with play silks? This is a question I have been asked recently. I have posted here a couple of times about play silks and imaginative play for children. In my opinion, play silks are the ultimate toy. They are so versatile. They can be used in so many ways. My children's favorite use for them is to make forts using the Waldorf Wood Play Clips (Handmade in America).

They can be used for dress up. They make great scarves, bandannas, hats, sash, skirt, and masks. They are also great for peek-a-boo with babies. Your children will think up hundreds of uses for silks.

With so many uses play silks make a great holiday gift. You could wrap a couple of silks with some play clips or just slip the silks into a stocking. Your kids will love it.

Another option for great Christmas Gifts that create creative play is any one of the many dress up items, fairy wands, streamers, parachutes, soft swords, or sky tails available from Sarah's Silks.

If you aren't familiar with Sarah's Silks Skytails or Parachutes check them out. These are easy to throw and soft enough for safe play indoors or out. Your child will love playing with the parachutes, you can take the ball out and let a small doll take a ride.

These fun toys made by Sarah's Silks will surely keep your kids entertained for hours. These fun creative toys do not get boring like other toys because your child can adapt them into other uses by using their imagination.
