Natural Materials for kids

It seems everywhere you look these days everyone is talking about being green, organic, or natural. This is awesome and I am so happy to see people being interested in natural products. It is really scary to think of all the chemicals we come in contact with each day. These potential toxins are in our foods, clothes, in our homes, and in the air.

But what about the children. Our children are raised in an environment where it is really difficult to keep them away from dangerous chemicals. We try to feed our children organic foods, we use all natural soaps and health products, give them all natural art supplies, and give them handmade toys made of wood or organic cotton. I hope that these attempts to keep my children away from the toxins will keep them healthy and allow them to live the best life possible.

Please support your local retail stores who provide natural products. It is really important to support the manufacturers of handmade products especially handmade toy manufacturers who are now paying fees to be able to sell their products legally thanks to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).
